ABOUT THE COMPANY
Otsu Labs is a 2D animation studio with a primary focus on the anime style. We provide end-to-end services, from character design and environment concept creation to storyboard development and final scene production. In addition to commercial projects, Otsu Labs is committed to developing original intellectual properties (IPs), delivering innovative and groundbreaking works in the animation industry.
We are looking for a Content Intern to support our team in various marketing activities, contributing to brand growth and engagement across different platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Content Intelligence & Research Support (60%)
- Track and update emerging animation trends on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X;
- Monitor international character IPs and successful independent animation projects;
- Explore fan community (fandom) behaviors and preferences;
- Assist in preparing data reports and trend analysis as guided by the manager.
2. Content Strategy Assistance (40%)
- Build and manage a high-quality asset library for Marketing & Production;
- Contribute creative ideas for new content based on research findings;
- Support the preparation of materials for studio communication campaigns;
- Handle other administrative and supporting tasks as assigned by the team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communication, or related fields;
- Deep interest in Anime culture and art styles (Sakuga, Limited Animation, IP development);
- Strong research and data synthesis skills; social media savvy;
- Proficiency in English (reading/writing); familiar with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.);
- Proactive, meticulous, and eager to learn.
