ABOUT THE COMPANY

Otsu Labs is a studio specializing in 2D animation, with a primary focus on anime style. We provide end-to-end services from character design, concept environment building, and storyboard creation to final scene production. In addition to commercial projects, Otsu Labs is also aiming to develop original IPs (intellectual properties), creating innovative and groundbreaking products in the animation industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in production planning, support in scheduling, and allocate tasks to relevant departments;
Set deadlines for tasks, monitor progress, and update completion status for different teams (such as concept artists, storyboard artists, animators);
Organize meetings and facilitate internal communication;
Track and manage documents, assets, and necessary project information;
Ensure production resources (files, software, tools) are properly stored and shared among departments;
Handle arising issues;
Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports;
Working hours: from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or depending on the nature of the work), Monday to Saturday morning.

REQUIREMENTS

Age: 23 – 28;
At least 1 year of experience as a production assistant in film/MV/animation/TVC projects;
College degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or Foreign Languages;
Good English communication skills;
Understanding and passion for anime culture;
Knowledge of film and animation;
Proficient in project management tools such as Google Sheets, Google Slides, Asana, or similar software;
Candidates with knowledge of animation production processes (2D and/or 3D) are preferred;
Driving skills (car) is an advantage.
